three’s

3-4 years

Our intermediate classes use developmentally appropriate activities in our "center" based curriculum. The explorations of early learning skills include the areas of dramatic play, language, math, science, and art. An emphasis is placed on cooperative play as children practice appropriate social behaviors. This is an important time to foster a love of learning, using a variety of hands on manipulatives, the children gain confidence and many problem solving skills. Our 3 year olds take a fun look at a Bible story that they read through every week.

Our Philosophy

Little Light Preschool exists to partner with families to help kids build a strong foundation of learning and faith. We do this by helping kids accomplish and master 4 key areas:

Learn God’s truth and develop a lifelong love of learning

Explore creation with curiosity and wonder

Create with imagination as unique individuals made in God’s image

Play in ways that foster growth and relationships

“We are so pleased with our decision to choose Little Light Preschool! Our child has made such wonderful friendships with both classmates and teachers, and you can truly feel the strong sense of community throughout the school.
We also love the events outside of school. Most recently, the movie night was such a fun opportunity to support the school while connecting with other LLP families. It’s those experiences that make Little Light feel like more than just a preschool — it really feels like a community we’re happy to be a part of.”
